Although my mum isn't here anymore I thought I would like to make something so here's a little window box full of tulip using the S.U Timeless Tulip stamp set.
There will be a lot of people who will be unable to see their mum's today for various reasons and especially because of the current situation with isolation, so to all mum's out there who won't have any visitors Happy Mothers Day to you all.
Take care all of you and stay safe..
Anne

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post Anne. I don't have my Mum any more but I have a photo of her in front of my desk, so she's never too far away. It will be strange not seeing my children today but we all have to our bit to keep everyone safe. Your little window box is an absolute joy and it's brightened my day just looking at it, thank you. Take care Anne xx

What a beautiful card Anne and love the pretty box of tulips. It is sad to be unable to see family, but necessary, especially for really elderly people to be extra careful. Like Viv has said I am just glad that my Mum and Dad are not having to live through these chaotic times. Take care. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful window box Anne....thanks for sharing a bit of happiness. xx
ReplyDeleteIt's been a strange day today, I haven't seen my Mum for 2 weeks now. I know she's worrying about the situation we are all in and I would love to give her a hug.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous, I love the window box design and pretty tulips.

What a delightful post Anne -- what Mum would not like to receive this box of flowers - so creative and so well done. Yes, we here on my little island are hunkered down. This virus is playing havoc with us all - physically and financially. I do hope all is well with you Sugar and your family too.

Such true words spoken be the ladies above, I lost both of mine a year or two back and despite living through a war neither have been able to comprehend wha is going on.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard enough for us and even our 23 year old granddaughter who is a sensible girl, an English teacher said yesterday she was struggling to comprehend it all (I would add she still lives at home with her parents, they are across the courtyard so we can talk at distance. Her elder sister who is an equine vet is not handling it well at all, she was due to get married in a few weeks time, tried to re-book for next May but unable to get the venue, caterer and a few others as they were previously booked so into 2022 now.
Anyhow's, a beautiful Tulip creation to brighten a Monday morning. Stay well and safe.
