I actually managed to put a card together yesterday.. My friend Michelle very kindly let me borrow a couple of her Crafters Companion Gemini - Elements dies and this is the Silhouette Stag.
The frame is one from 'The Works', I must say their dies are very good and cut beautifully....a very quick card to make and at least I've made a start on my Christmas cards.
I'm still quilt malking and doing crochet which I am enjoying very much.
Anne
A good start to your Christmas card collection - a very nice card. Dies from The Works are good I agree.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card Anne and the silhouette stag and pretty poinsettia and leaves look great against the green spotted paper, and the gingham is so fresh and pretty. The frame from The Works stands out beautifully in white too, definitely one to look out for. x
ReplyDeleteI must check out the dies at The Works as I keep reading good things about them and this one is certainly very pretty as is your card, really like to deep greens against the white.

ReplyDeleteGreat card,i love how you have combined your dies.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Anne and I really like the look of the Gingham in the background. The black silhouette Stag looks really majestic and I love the pretty die cut frame around him. Everything works together perfectly. Wishing you a happy weekend x
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic! I have never found a card to be quick or easy. I seem to slave over them and of course I have always worried too much.
ReplyDeleteAs always, you have done a wonderful job making this jewel!
