Birthday blues....

Its been a while since my last post AGAIN but we have been making the most of this glorious late summer we've been having, so we decided to have a few days down in the New Forest and it was lovely.

Back to my card:  I made this card for my friend Margaret who's birthday it is today, Happy Birthday Margaret...I just used several dies and some flowers also I decided not to put a senitment on the front of the card after reading on someones blog that they never do as the person who receives the card might want to frame it.

Blogging hopefully will now get back to normal as all the grandchildren are back in school and I've got more time in the craft room.

Sorry I haven't been able to get around to reading your blogs but hope to but that right over the next couple of days.

Thank you for popping by...

Anne

  2. Glad to hear you had a lovely time in the New Forest Anne. I think it sets you up nicely for the winter to have a late break away with good weather.

Your card is absolutely beautiful and so delicate. The colours are gorgeous and I'm sure Margaret was very happy to receive such a beautiful card from you. Barbxx

  3. A super card Anne. I love the way you have used the chicken wire die. I'm so glad you have enjoyed a few days away. I always like to go away when the kids are back at school - not that I don't like kids but if you can go away outside of school holidays why wouldn't you ... lol! Christine xx
