A few years ago a few ladies from our craft group did an Encaustic Art workshop including myself...
I found this little gem tucked away in a drawer its only a small image but thought it was too nice to throw away but at the time I wasn't very pleased with my efforts.. so decided to use the image to make a card. All the card pieces are scraps and I am quite pleased how it turned out, the birds are a little bit large to say the least!
The weather outside isn't very nice so its either a day sewing or a day crafting..

It's a lovely image, definitely needed rescuing from the drawer!

unfortunately i did not have enough time to make more encaustic art , so i sold all my wax and iron.
this card is very clever made, because this technic is very difficult, but i love this card.
