Pixie's Snippets Challenge...week 143




Had a lovely day yesterday as my daughter won tickets for The Handmade Show at Hamton Court.. There was a lots of  Vintage stuff there including beautiful fabrics  which I was tempted to buy but resisted...but came home with lots of ideas of things to make...we also managed to do a Papercraft workshop which was good fun and I was lucky enough to win the draw for our workshop...

This weeks card for Pixie's Snippets Challenge is made from scraps of DP hence the patchwork appearance....papers are from Dovercraft Garden Party, Tattered Lace Shoe die, Sue Wilson peite bow, Martha Stewart border punch and Nellie Snellen flower and leaf punch....I've just noticed I've got a 'wonky' pearl so need to fix that!

    What a pretty card Anne, I love it when you show something with bits & pieces & turn it into a lovely creation. Those Sue Wilson dies keep calling my name but so far have resisted. LOVE them !!!

    Isn't funny how we notice things in a picture that we do not see when getting ready to take the picture! I really like your pretty pinks and greens together - and you have such beautiful texture with your card.

    Great card Anne - of course I adore the colours :) And those dies, wow. The shoes look like platform shoes - I once had a pair of red slingback platfom shoes and almost broke me neck wearing them! But they did look stunning so long as I didn't need to actually walk in them :)
