Birthday card....

I am back to blogging after having almost a week off, we have been in France for a few days with friends...had a lovely time just a pity the weather wasn't warmer although we did have 3 good days, one day of constant rain and   yesterday the rain did clear up in the afternoon.

 The image I have used on my card is an old Kanban one, luckily when I first saw these and others I bought quite a few of them and so pleased I did especially as  Kanban is no longer trading.
Printed backing paper is also Kanban, I've used and embossing folder on the side and popped some Stampin Up pleased ribbon down the edge.
I've used Crafts Too Entwined cutting and embossing die down the side and also used it for the leaves under my flowers and the die Namics Faux Crochet border die on the top and bottom of my image.  Sentiment is from Craftworks cards.

 Its now back to the washing and ironing...

    Very pretty image and the card is lovely with the embossing and die cuts etc. The colours go so well together - like the look of the intertwined leaves die!!

    I wondered why you'd been quiet - glad you had a nice time despite the weather.
    I had no idea Kanban had ceased trading (I don't get out much obviously!) Lovely card - that embossed border die is stunning.

    She is beautiful Anne with those super colors. Very elegant and lady like. The background paper has the loveliest greens. I love the pretty lavender boarder with the pearls. A lady never goes out without her pearls.
