One of the projects we are doing on our Craft night is making a Rose using one of the Creative Expressions embossing folder shown above... then make a complete card using the Rose they have made and also using the folder as a backing paper. Here are some of my samples:
The two cards above I have inked the embossing folder before running the folder through my embossing machine.
A very simple white and silver card....
For this card I used cor-dinations paper ran it through my Bigshot then sanded it down...used 3 nesties and a sentiment as my focal point.
This was another inked embossed background but this time using a different side of the embossing folder...just added a few pearls and also used one of the 'flowers' for my sentiment.
Tomorrow I will post a couple of cards from the other project we did.

Oh Anne! Welcome back! I've missed your postings! I got very excited to see your cards today, as I also have this embossing folder, and I keep meaning to try this inking technique too! I love all your projects, and the pretty rose you made, what a fab embellishment! I may have to try this today myself!

I never even thought about using the embossing folder at the base of the Roses, proved by point that you learn something every day in crafting.

Hi Anne, I love the letterpress technique, and have used it several times. Your cards look fabulous! I really like the EF you used, which gives a really lovely effect. I love how you made your layered rose, too x
