St Lukes Charity card challenge......New Year New Start

This is the first challenge for St Lukes charity card challenge 2012 and as the heading says our challenge is New Year, New Start which means you can give something that might be destined for the bin a new lease of life...
For my 'New Life'  I've used some sparkly wrapping paper for the background, it so sparkly that it wasn't easy to photograph!  The bow came off a Christmas Cracker which I iron and then remade another bow.  The flowers on the card I recycled from an old card and just added a new pearl brad centre. Other items I have used on my card are SU embossing folder and M.S Punch.
The stamp I used is and LB Design stamp which I have coloured with Copic pens.

Our Sponsor this month is 'The Ribbon Girl' and the prize is this wonderful Yellow Girl Ribbon Kit

So come crafters get your mojo's working and show us what you can do....just remember you have to 'be in it to win it'..
Also pop over to St Lukes Charity card challenge see what the other members of our design team have come up.

  2. This is just wonderful Anne - the wrapping paper and colours you chose complement the 20's style stamp so well - it has a very deco feel.

  8. This is a great card and well done for recycling some bits and pieces. I 'rescued' ribbons and beady bits and pieces from some crackers (they were on their way into the bin) so I should be able to use them somehow later.
