Less is More challenge this week is Butterfly/Butterflies. For my card I have used a crafts too embossing folder which has butterflies on it.
Stamped a butterfly from the Stampin UP set called Touch of Nature onto turquoise card them used bleach to bleach out the colour in certain areas this gives such a pretty effect.
Added a few pearls then mounted the butterfly onto circles using SU punches and the SU scallop one. Greeting is computer generated...
Thanks for looking
Anne
This is really lovely Anne, the embossing is really pretty and the colours of the butterfly are stunning. Jo x
ReplyDeleteLovely effect Anne - I daren't use bleach as I'm a bit clumsy and am likely to spill it on the carpet!
ReplyDeleteLovely card and the butterfly has worked well with the bleach as results can be variable can't they. Good idea using that embossing folder as a background too.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne , what a stunning effect !

Lovely card, Anne, I'm impressed to read you made the butterfly by bleaching, you must have a really steady hand as the lighter areas are perfectly done, looks almost like it's been printed. I'm not brave enough to try this technique either, lol. CoB
