Club Night...Candles

Last Wednesday was our club night and the girls made candles from old books...I like to use really old paper backs for my candles where the pages have gone brown as I think it gives a vintage look.
The two slimmer candles are made using the double spine fold which makes them slim the middle candle is a single spine fold... We used flickering BATTERY candles of course NOT REAL ONES which make them look really effective..I've decorated these all the same as these are also samples for a W I workshop I am doing....
If you want to have a go just go onto UTUBE there are plenty of different book folding techniques..and it is really easy..

Enjoy the rest of your weekend..

  1. Hi Anne, your candles look great. I have just made a few candles and Chrismas trees over the last few days. My mojo is still on walkabout so these bookfold projects are pretty mindless and I can just get on with them and I'm still doing something crafty. Hope things are well with youand yours. 3. These look great and the vintage look of the pages is what attracted me to making one of these. Could be more in the pipeline.
