Pixie's Snippet challenge week 142....
Where did last week go? Another challenge over at Pixie's Snippet challenge
although I've used snippets to make my challenge cards my box isn't going down as it builds up again during the week!!
Do you remeber the time before we had dies and punches....well I used to buy artifical flowers and leaves and pull them apart to make floral cards...last week I had a clear out of all those flowers and gave them to my granddaughters to make cards with but I did keep a few odd bits being the leaves and the little cones....no idea where they came from sorry...
The die is a Marianne Creatable one.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend...
Anne
Delightful card, loving the leaves among the die.xxThe Journey is the Start
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Anne, I like the colours the leaves and cones

Well done for using up some of your leaves etc - that Marianne die is a favourite of mine
ReplyDeleteOh I do remember those times Anne, only last week I was reminded when one of my daughters mailed me a photo of some of my very early makes she found during a clear out, to say there was sad is an understatement. They must be at least ten years old but I still remember sitting doing the dry embossing with a Fiskars gadget.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow you card today, it's one of my fav dies (could never have achieved that years ago) and I always love anything Autumnal.

I love your beautiful fall card, Anne! You took me down memory lane!! Sometimes I think about a design and realize I don't have a die and then it hits me like some kind of genius lightbulb moment: I can use scissors! Funny, how we transition into new ways so effortlessly sometimes!! Hugs, Darnell
