Last Thursday I spent a lovely day with my crafting friend Val...its always nice to exchange ideas and also to share stamped images and dies.
Val had shown me a Spellbinders frame that she had gilded using Woodware double sided sticky backed paper instead of Flitter glue....I came home and created this card.
The lovely scenic image is one I stamped at Val's its a Heartfelt Creations one which I coloured with watercolour pencils. I used a the Garden Lattice embossing folder for the background, Spellbinders tag and the corners are from Whimsy...
right off to do the ironing now!
Anne

ReplyDeleteI saw your comment Anne and it got me thinking I have not visited for a while which I am afraid is the story of my life the last few weeks as for reasons known only to him, Blogger is being selective with updates on my dashboard and of course I only realise when a comment reminds me as it did here.
ReplyDeleteAs for this card, I would never have thought of using gilding flakes in this way but isn't it so effective, something I am going to gave to give a go, so thanks for the inspiration. And of course apologies for the lack of visits.
