Less is More challenge....

The ladies over at the Simply Less is More this week have chosen

AUTUMN
for this weeks challenge.  I've used part of a serviette which has leaves in it. Got a square of mount bound, split the  serviette down to one layer, painted the mount board with Mod Podge, placed my square of serviette on it, then brushed Mod Podge over the top.  Let it dry, then added some glitter and when that was dry put a  glaze all over the image, then mounted it onto a Nestie.  Serviettes are great for making card with as there are some beautiful ones out there. if you haven't tried it have a go....

  1. This is really gorgeous Anne so very effective using the serviettes.

This is something I've never tried, a lady demoing alongside me a couple of weeks ago was doing something similar but making little Winter scenes with penguins and decided then I should give it a go. Just need to buy the serviettes.

  2. Whoooooa that went over my head, will have to read this again to fully understand all the instructions. It mazes me sometimes what you ladies use to make cards and this is one I really have to concentrate on.

Thanks Jacqui for giving me some more ideas to try. Lovely card by the way.

  27. This is gorgeous and the die mount sets it off beautifully. I actually have a pack of serviettes I bought for this technique about 4 years ago, I recently began using them as serviettes as I couldn't bear to see them just sitting there anymore - maybe I will rescue one!

  31. Ooooh Anne - your gorgeous card technique took me back a few years - I used to use the same formula to decorate large candles - it's so effective, and you have made a fabulous Autumnal card with this leaf pattern. Brilliant! (Love that Nestie frame too)!
