I am back!....

Hello my blogging friends...we are back having spent two lovely weeks in Yorkshire one of our favourite places....our first week was glorious sunshine and last week although cooler but still sunny was dry apart from one afternoon.  We finished off our holiday by having a silver service evening meal on the North Yorkshire Moors railway and eating in a carriage that dated back to 1910....a wonderful evening which we will certainly do again...
I was very good, no crafty shopping except on line...lOl...lOl...and it was nice to have a crafting break....

Its great to be back in the craft room with all the washing an ironing done so I don't feel guilty!
Todays card is for a birthday next month...the image is a Penny Black one which is coloured with pencils...backing papers are from a  Basic Grey paper pad  called Kioshi.  EK Success Punch used for the water and 3 rolled flowers on the Marianne swirl...

I hope to catch up with you all soon...

Anne

  1. Gorgeous, Anne. Love the image and your pencil colouring looks fabulous. Such a lovely effect for the water with your punches, too.
I know I sometimes moan about our weather here in Yorkshire, but there are some beautiful places...especially in North Yorkshire. So pleased to hear that you enjoyed a lovely holiday, Anne xx

  2. This is not only cute Anne but beautiful too! I love the colors you have selected and the papers. Your image is wonderful and I love the butterfly leaving the image. Very clever and beautifully done. I am saving your post for my husband to read. Oh to be able to do a holiday the way you did. I have never been to Yorkshire. Just London, Bath and Scotland. I loved reading about your holiday and wish you many more. I hope you will post the menu that you had on the train - Please!!!!!
