Less is more....

The girls over at LIM have come up with yet another great challenge 'One layer using inks'.
Not very happy with my card and not only is the colour 'wishy washy' but also my stamp pad I think needs throwing away! Also I need to clean my scanner as it looks like 'dirt' on my card!
I've used Judikins postage frame, inked up the plain rubber from Carole's cube using fluid chalks in pink and blue stamped into the frame then use the Serengeti image from Judikins Safari cube, just added some ribbon to give it a little bit of colour.

Thanks for looking

Anne

  3. That's not wishy washy - its pastel or subtle!! Just right for the one layer challenge this week

  4. I'm glad you liked the challenge Anne0. It's a super card, but I think it would have looked more vibrant if you could have photographed it rather than scanning it... scanning seems to sap so much life out of cards!
Thanks so much, we'll see you again next week.

  9. Great for the one layer challenge Anne. I agree with Chrissie about the scanner zapping the life out of cards. I know I've tried both ways and the photos definitely take precedence over the scanned image. But it's lovely anyway and very delicate.

  12. Pretty card Anne
I have a=to agree on the scanning, it does bleach the effect, which is a shame,
If you don't mind me saying Id have used a sheer black ribbon, I think it would have had the reverse effect and made the colours stand out more
    Thanks so much
