Winter scene....

Last Thursday I went with a couple of friends to a craft show at Shepton Mallett...not that I needed anymore crafty bits you understand!
It was a lovely surprise to see Jenny Mayes from Hobby Art demonstrating there ... I stood and watched Jenny playing with the Nature Tail set and also using some watercolour Zig pens from Kuretake I decided to buy the stamp set  along with 4 of the pens which I used to colour the reindeer and rabbit.
The above card was my first attempt, not very pleased with it as one of the reindeers looks like his carrying a Christmas tree on his back..

I was so much happier with my 2nd card and although I decided to brush the sky with my duster brushed rather than using watercolour I thought it looked better...I really enjoyed creating the little scenes ... Lookout for what ended up in the bin in my snippets post later next week.

The grandchildren break up today so not a lot of time will be spent crafting..

Have a great weekend...

And there was me thinking he was standing behind the tree Anne, but both are really pretty scenic cards with all the animals.

Both of these scenes are very pretty Anne and I love the colours. I always intend to buy some more Hobby Art stamps as there is a lot you can do with them to vary the scenes you create and they are good quality. x

They are both lovely, perfect Christmas cards! Jenny makes it look so easy, I enjoy her demos! Skies are always a challenge, yours turned out great, I think you're right the brushed one has a slight edge. Enjoy half term :) xx

Really good cards - you gave me a good laugh because I never would have noticed the tree on the buck's back had you not pointed it out. You did a really good job with these Anne.
