Candy.....

As some of you know I have been clearing out my friend Karen's Craftroom, Karen's sadly passed away at Easter.  There's an awful lot to do but we are getting there, and what we dont sell will go to the St Margarets Hospice shops.

Whilst clearing Karen's 'warehouse' of crafting goodies I realized just how much I've have hoarded over the years and needed to do something about it ...so yesterday afternoon I started to sort through my 'stash' its going to take quite a while!!!...as I've not made a card for a while (there are a couple on my desk in progress) I thought I would offer up some Candy..
Creative Expressions Wedding stamps one I won from Sue Wilsons blog, the Indigo Blu Christmas trees which seemed a good idea at the time but they haven't seen daylight and the little Bloomin Violet die has been used once....

We shall be spending time with the grandchildren over the summer holidays so not a lot of card making will get done really until September

So my blogging friends  leave me a comment and I will get one of my grandchildren to pick a name out on Sunday night...

No candy hunters please ......

Anne, what a very sad task for you! You are a true friend. Hope you manage to sell everything you want to, but as you say the Hospice will benfit too. I think we all have stuff like that - seemed a good idea and a definite must-have and yet rarely, sometimes never, used. Thanks for giving us a chance to own some of your "over flow"! Enjoy the time with your grandhildren. My nephew is coming with his children on Thursday so we are really looking forward to that. Hugs Christine x

Hi Anne - I would love a chance to win your Candy, please. It's amazing what we seem to accumulate over the years, isn't it!

Hiya Anne, nice of you to offer up some unwanted stash as candy, fingers crossed as I'd especially love the little die. Sorry to hear that you lost a friend, so sad, but nice that you're helping clear out stuff. Like you, I am spending a lot of time these holidays with grandchildren (I have 10) and am looking forward to having some nice days out. I do have a few cards to make yet but hopefully get them done in the next day or two. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day. Sue x

What a sad thing to lose a good friend ... I can't even imagine but so nice of you to help clear her crafting room. As one who continues to buy but hasn't made a card in ages I smiled when I saw that wedding sentiment set. Just reminds me that I have a grand daughter getting married in a couple of months & if I hurry maybe I can get a card done for her in time. Nothing she would love more than for me to start making cards again. Enjoy those grandchildren. They grow up much toast. I think of you often ...
hugs, Janie

Oh Anne what a very sad task to have to do. Our crafting group has a little bit of a joke saying "I must use it before I die" but really it is no joke is it? We hoard our papers - too pretty to use, things bought on impulse - seemed a good idea at the time and other things like dies bought without checking the size! Enjoy your family time and most especially with your grandchildren, God Bless. xxMargaret

I'm so sorry to read about your friend Anne. I am catching up on your blog in the wrong order of posts.
What a lovely thing to do for her, I really hope you have managed to sell her craft things, it must have been so very hard for you.
Take care
