Fabric Wreath.....

For the last couple of days I have been using up some of my scraps of Christmas fabric and have made this Christmas wreath....its made with 2" squares cut out with pinking scissors which are then pushed into a wreath shaped polystyrene ring.
I did use the blunt end of a BBQ stick to push the fabric in with but my fingers are so sore from holding and pushing the stick in  (its pushed not glued)  ..I added some gold berries which I found in our local garden centre....
I am supposed to be making two of these but need to give my poor fingers a reast for a couple of days...

Now I need to get on with making the last of my Christmas cards..

Anne

P.S.  After reading Patricia's comment I might just glue  the next one....thanks for the tip..

Love it, really beautiful.
A great way to use up scraps of Christmas colours.
Years ago the first one I made of these I did not use glue. After a while all the bits fell out ... you live and learn!!
I like these in the window for Easter Time as well. I use nice summer colours makes me feel that summer will soon be on its way.

Wonderful wreath Anne, no wonder your fingers were sore!! Could you use a pencil to push them in?

A beautiful Christmas wreath. I can remember making one of these long ago, and how sore your fingers get from pushing the tiny squares into the wreath foam. This looks so pretty though, so I hope your fingers have gotten back to normal by now. TFS & Hugs
