May Club night....

It was out May club night last night and one of the projects we did  was using the Alcohol Inks, tissue paper and Crystal Lacquer technique.. I know I have posted this technique before but thought you might like to see some of the samples that I did using mainly stampin Up stamps...sorry the photographs aren't great as it so dark this afternoon....

Lovely as a Tree set...Alcohol inks used. Lettuce, Carmel and Butterscotch

Nature walk set.....inks used, Expresso, Red Pepper and Caramel
Papaya Collage set....using the same inks and on the Nature walk set.
Faith in Nature set...inks used, Willow, Lettuce and Butterscotch.
Papillion Potpourri set....Alcohol inks, Cool Perri, Stonewashed and Aqua
PSX stamp... inks used...Bottle, stream, Denim...

This is such an effective technique to do especially if you dont have backing papers and of course you can also add glitter, another lovely effect is to emboss the finished acetate to give it more texture...

Its a really miserable cold and wet afternoon here...where did the sun go??

Wow Anne, what a lovely collection, the ink and crystal lacquer technique is a lovely one and always gives amazing results and I am very drawn to the second one with the bird and cage and the little touch of lace peeking through.
