Club night...Brick wall technique

At this months Craft club meeting the two projects we did were the Brick Wall technique and also a Double Dutch card...
Here are 3 of my samples for the brick wall technique.

stamp used is for this card is an old PSX one
it has no name on it but to me its a ragged tulip.
Also used a couple of small stamps for the background.

Again another old stamp this time from
                             Inkadinkadoo and an embossing folder
This is one of my favourite Stampin Up stamp
sets called Elements of Style and have used the Tessatia die and   a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.
Some of our ladies used actual photographs for this technique and they look great .  Will post some sample cards tomorrow of the Double Dutch card.

Well the little 'Grandies' all went home last night so today is tidy up day and changing beds!  We love having them to stay but it is hard work at times and you do forget that you are getting older!   We had a fun time as we baked biscuits, played darts played with the WI machine, did puzzles and of course a little bit of time in the craft room...
Off to make 4 commission cards now and the hope to catch up with your all lovely blogs....

Anne
