Just tidying up my desk this morning and getting my bag ready to go to patchwork when I found this little SU flower which was on a little gift tag so decided it was too nice to put in the bin so I have made a little card with it.
The flower stamp is from the mixed bunch set and also there is a matching punch. SU pleated ribbon, Crafts too embossing folder used on the background.
My desk it almost clear now....doesn't make you feel good??  But the question is how long will it last...lOl...lOl...

Thanks for popping by....

In the Pink....Challenge 2

The 2nd challenge over at In the Pink is things with wings and as I needed a very girly pink card I've used another of LOTV images.
Coloured with Copic pens and mounted onto Nesties, backing paper I've have for years but theres no name on the pack.
For the flourish I have used  Cheery Lynn die and just punched out some flowers which I have put an embossing folder first to give them a bit of texture.  Sentiment from Craftwork Cards.  The card is very pale but looks a lot brigher in real life!

Starting School....

Our youngest granddaughter starts school next Monday so have made her a little card....the school colours are brown and yellow with grey skirts or pinnafores so not  prettiest of colours!!
Coloured one of the LOTV little stamps, added some tape across the middle which I thought looked like a ruler, made a small book for the dictionary and also made a pencil using a cocktail stick.  Backing papers are from Craft Creations...

Butterfly medley......

Yesterday afternoon I actually found a couple of hours to spend in my craft room....I have so much in the way of new 'crafting goodies' that haven't seen daylight yet so though I should have a little play and this is what I came up with.
I used one of my new S.U. edgelits dies and embossing folder on the side of my card. The embossed background folder is S.U also used Sizzlits large leaves and the Sizzlits  butterfly die from SU
The sentiment is from S.U. and the frame is from the Four Frame set.
I found a pretty piece of mauve trim which I popped on top of the ribbon and of course added a few pearls.
Its now pouring with rain but its so refreshing after all the humid weather we have had in the last few days....

Also entering my card in the Fab'n'funky challenge using leaves

In between doing all the washing today I have actually managed to put a quick card together.

Coloured with copic pens...backing paper is from Echo Park Country drive paper pad.  Pleated ribbon is from Stampin Up, I've also punches out 3 little flowers and added a bow using Vintage seam binding...
Just wondering about tackling all the ironing tonight to get it out of the way but it needs to cool down first.

Club night....

Its was out monthly craft club meeting last night so I have spent to week doing samples...we did 2 projets paper piecing and stamping onto  "2 square Stampboard tiles, colouring and then using UTEE embossing powder on the top.  Unfortunately I couldn't find my stampboard so had to use Mountboard which worked perfectly well
Here are just 3 of my sample cards that I made.  As I have said before we have to keep our projects simple as we only have 2 1/2  hours and that includes a tea break.  The girls made made some gorgeous cards last night.
Stamps I used are:
My first card is a Penny Black stamp called 'letter & Daisy'.
I used Hobby Art daisy for my 2nd card
The last card is also Penny black called 'Enchanted Orchid.

Thanks for looking....

Get well.....

Not a lot of crafting has been done this week as we have been quite busy.  Wednesday we went down to Weymouth where the Olympic sailing is taking place, had a brilliant day, the weather was nice and lots of things going on.
Yesterday was spent with our grandchildren down in Taunton where we always have lots of fun but come home exhausted!!
This card I made last week-end and although I haven't made it for our Club paper piecing project I have done more paper piecing using the Memory Box umbrella die...
Not sure where the backing papers are from as its just odd sheets from one of my pads and I dont have the cover any more.. Memory box dies also used are, Circle border and Meridian border.
Off to do more samples cards for our craft meeting next Wednesday.

St Lukes Charity card Challenge...

'It's an Olympic Sporting Life' is the theme of our challenge this month over at St Lukes Charity Card Challenge.  So this month we would like a sporting card from you. Just remember sports aren't just for boys - make any sport your focus.
For my 2 cards I have made a Sailing boat which represents the sailing that is going on in Weymouth just down the road from where I live.  I have used an image that was 'free' in one of the Making cards magazines which also included the background, just added  a couple of charms and some bakers twine...so a really quick card.
My second card is 'Archery'....also my little Penny Black archer is obviously thinking about love but his little bow and arrow are aimed on the 'target'..lOl..lOl.. Backing papers are all from Stampin Up, Martha Stewart border punch, and little nestie hearts.
We have a fabulous prize to give away this month kindly donated by  Waltzingmouse:

All you have to do to win these gorgeous stamps is to post a card onto the St Lukes Charity card challenge...you DONT have to donate your card to join in our challenge but if you would like to donate your card then that would be brilliant and the address to send your card is on the St Lukes blog page.
So come girls and boys we need you help to boost our challenge this month Please come on and join in our challenge this month, just remember you have to be 'In it to Win it'.
Also pop along and look at the other DT cards for more inspiration.
Thanks
