Roses are Red......

Another Nellie's card using the 'waste' aperture from the largest Nellie's circle die.
For the centre I've used a smaller circle die, cut and layed with red card and mounted a Victorian Lady's head which is from one of Joanna Sheen's Victorian Photographs.
Backing paper is SU Red Real Designer Paper.
Pins: The Hobby House
Roses: from Stash
Punch: L-EM fern punch
Two friends have 'BIG' birthdays coming up soon will add a number to the top right hand corner....wonder who will get this card?????

Another Nellie Card

I've used the 2nd largest circle from the Nellie's Circle set for this card, the circle has a 'pointed' scalloped edge unlike the last card which had round scallops if you know what I mean!!!
The flower image and sentiment are from the SU set 'Bloomin with Beauty', think I might have to buy this set as I keep borrowing it from my lovely friend Jan....thank you Jan. The flowers have been coloured using Pencils,I've used nesting circles to mount the images up and popped them onto pads.
All card and backing papers used on this card is from Stampin Up.

3D mouse.....

Thought I would have a little play with 2 of my new Christmas goodies. I had a set of Nellie's Muilti frames (circles) from my friend Carolynne and I also treated myself to one of the new EK Success border punches. The Nellie's frames are quite versatile and you can make 6 different designs plus use can use the 'waste' card for actual frames so great value for money!
Stamped this lovely little mouse image then used the largest circle to cut it out.
As we are also doing decoupage as one of our projects in club next month thought this card would make a lovely sample using rubber stamps to decoupage. The mouse has been coloured using both chalks and Radiant Pearls, the Radiant Pearls have been sat in my
cupboard for the last 3 years!!!!!
Recipe:
Stamp: Great Impressions
Nellies: Circle set
Punch: EK SUccess Diamond lace, SU Photo corner
Backing paper: Craft Creations
Pearls: Papermania
Ribbon and flower from stash.

Thanks for looking.

Parchment.......

At long last I've had time to finish off one of my Parchment projects that I did at a week-end workshop with Christine Coleman and Alison Yeates down in Paignton.... I went on the course with 3 other friends, Karen, Janet and Jill...we had lots of laughs along the way especially about my room which really was no bigger that a cupboard/closet!!
This was the first time I had ever done a workshop or had attempted any sort of grid work and although it took a lot of concentration I really enjoyed doing it. All I need to be do now is to find a nice frame.

I should doing the ironing this morning but just found time to make the Penny Black challenge card for this week and the theme is Red and Gold.
U have used 2 PB stamps on this card 'Gifts for You', which I adapted and put the balloon on and also 'Xmas memories' stamped in the backgroun on the label. For the background on the card I used the SU Snowflake roller but it doesn't show up very well in the photograph. Cuttlebug snowflake die, SU eylet border punch, balloon punch and ribon from my stash. Right off to do the ironing now.
